This limited edition, 88-watch series, was born from Producer Michael’s profound admiration for Behrens, a renowned Chinese watchmaking brand celebrated for its innovative designs and meticulous craftsmanship. With an unwavering commitment to excellence, this collaboration merges Behrens’ cutting-edge creativity with Producer Michael’s discerning vision, resulting in timepieces that are both timeless and contemporary.
Inspired by the relationship between the Earth and the Moon, this mechanical wristwatch embodies the essence of celestial wonder. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, we’ve integrated a Swiss-made automatic movement with polished decorations, unparalleled precision, and reliability. What sets this timepiece apart is the in-house designed mechanical module, which showcases a unique time display and tracks the motion of the Moon relative to the rotating Earth.
The globe on the dial elegantly rotates once every 24 hours, serving as a dynamic day/night indicator. Complementing this spectacle, our innovative ring track orchestrates the micro moon’s graceful orbit around the globe, completing a cycle every 28 days. This system offers a captivating demonstration of the celestial motions of Earth and the Moon, mirroring the natural rhythm of their interaction with remarkable precision (27.32 Days).
Unlike the traditional way of time telling by using hands, we’ve introduced an innovative system with two discs and a decentralized design at the bottom of the dial (left & right) to indicate the ‘Hours’ and ‘Minutes’ respectively. Additionally, a small seconds hand is centrally located on the dial.
The “Apolar” with its unique design (an official GPHG 2020 nominee) offers a new aspect of telling time and may set a milestone in the watch design concept. This special edition of the watch is outfitted with Producer Michael’s unique colors, logo on the crown, and signature on the caseback.
